Effective TV Products

I was wondering if the product is true to the advertising or if it is just sand paper as a lot of hair removal products are. After all what is in sand paper but sand Chrystals. After all you can go to any hardware store and buy some really extra fine sand paper. I made the mistake a few years ago and bought what I thought was a removal pad for hair, and yes I got them, but nothing but the extra fine sand paper, and it did not work but made a rash on the skin.
Anyone have any experience with this product?
