Short video with both the Weider X-Factor and Tower 200. I am Still not sure which one i want to keep. The Tower is alot harder to pull with all 3 bands at once than the x-factor is. Even thought the numbers say otherwise. The Tower 200 is alot more quiet, but at the same time the bands being a rubber/ neopreme hose i wonder how they will last. The pulleys on both wobble to a certain extent. The towers are more round and straight when pulled but the x-factors are poorley molded and look like a wheel on a clown bicycle. Both machines will give you an excercise. The only question is durability. I called ICON – weider and they say the x-factor has a FULL lifetime warranty but my paperwork that came with it says 90 days, so who knows. They also didnt give me any specifics on the warrranty over the phone. The Tower 200 has a warranty which covers the frame, not the bands. I cant find the bands for purchase yet so i cant say what it will cost when the bungie type bands do snap.. A noticeable difference in the pull of the two machines is that the tower does increase resistence at out 2/3 of a pull , then at about full arms length it gets very hard since the bungie is like regular ones where they reach a point and cant go much further. The x-factor on the other hand can be stretched beyond the normal movement range since the bands are a more stretchable material. It also doesnt increase tension very much as you pull farther.- with a consistenet feel. One last thing is the fitment … …
